Work Experience

Oct 2022 – Oct 2023 - NICS IT Assist - 2nd Line Support Analyst - Dundonald

On placement with the Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) to give support to the 2nd Line Support team within IT Assist, using Cisco Jabber to call and help NICS users with resolving issues with their computers. Incidents included issues with monitors, peripherals, performance, browsers, emailing and other software. Communicated with colleagues via Microsoft Teams to assist with incidents or ask for help when needed. Recorded notes about incidents to show progress made and how they were resolved, helping future colleagues with similar incidents. Resolved hundreds of incidents by the end of my placement.
